Durrington Clothes Bank Causing Issues. It’s time for WC to Resolve

I have had over 20 residents speak to me about the mess left at the overflowing clothes bank on the old A345 opposite the Stonehenge Inn Durrington car park area. I have, over a 9 month period, reported this numerous times to Wiltshire Council as fly tipping. The company who used to run it no longer do, and it’s just been left to overflow becoming a real eyesore. (see picture) Wiltshire Council tell me that they are taking legal proceedings to get it removed .

Well for goodness sake, all it takes is to clear away the rubbish and tape it with red and white tape or similar and display “PLEASE NOTE, NOT IN USE” sign. You can then arrange for its formal removal or to re-use as a cloths bank.
