A New Chapter in Community Support: Opens in Durrington
In the heart of Durrington, a new kind of day service is quietly making a meaningful difference. Aspire Connections CIC has opened its doors with a simple but powerful mission: to create a space where adults with learning disabilities and/or autism feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
Founded by directors Sam, Nic, and Tania, Aspire Connections CIC is built on a shared belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Their vision goes beyond traditional support—they have created a nurturing environment rooted in respect, encouragement, and genuine human connection.
Set within the welcoming surroundings of the Old School Hall, the service offers more than just structured sessions; it provides a sense of belonging. Here, individuals are supported not only to develop practical life skills, but also to build confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships.
Operating three days a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30am to 2:30pm—the programme is thoughtfully designed to reflect the rhythms of everyday life. Participants engage in activities such as cooking, budgeting, communication, movement and personal development, alongside a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing. Each session is an opportunity to learn, connect, and take steps—big or small—towards greater independence.
What truly sets Aspire Connections CIC apart is its commitment to a smaller, more personal group setting. This allows each individual to be seen, heard, and supported in a way that feels both safe and empowering. Progress is not rushed; it is nurtured, celebrated, and shaped around each person’s unique journey.
At its core, Aspire Connections CIC is about people—about building confidence, fostering inclusion, and creating opportunities for individuals to thrive within their community. It’s a place where potential is recognised, independence is encouraged, and connections are at the centre of everything.
With limited spaces available, the team is inviting early enquiries from those who feel this supportive environment could make a difference in their lives or the lives of someone they care for.
