Below is a Summary of Speed Enforcement Activity

Speed Enforcement recorded 9 vehicles speeding on 3 February 2026 in Durrington on the Netheravon Road.

This stretch of road has a clearly displayed speed limit of 30mph. The fastest vehicles were recorded travelling at 39mph. However, a significant number of vehicles had been quite noticeably travelling at even higher speeds before becoming aware that the 30mph speed limit was being enforced. On the day in question, it was raining persistently, had been raining all day, and roads were extremely wet with standing water in many places.

Depending on previous convictions and history, all 9 drivers will be offered a speed awareness course.

Proceedings will now be undertaken to ensure the most appropriate outcome for the offenders takes place.
