DURRINGTON TOWN COUNCIL DELIVER A MASSIVE POSITIVE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.

During August the Durrington Recreation Ground hosted a Pump Track. What's a pump track you may ask? please look at the pictures to see. It was the brainchild of Town  Cllr Garry Eydmann and the purpose was to gauge interest in providing something more permanent for our Young People. During August, over 200 surveys were completed which will enable the Town Council to work with our community and look at the potential needs of a permanent Pump Track and enhanced  Skate Park. Thanks to all who helped deliver this exciting project and the Amesbury Tesco Champion Laura Thomas  who donated on behalf of Tesco, goodies  for people to enjoy whilst using the track.
