Avon Valley Academy (AVA) Celebrate Success with an End of Term Tea Party

On Wed 22nd Oct, I was delighted, as Chair of Durrington Town Council, to attend the AVA end of term celebration event. It was wonderful to meet Parents, Students, Governors and Staff of AVA. The tea party was a celebration of their recent ‘Good in all Areas’ Ofsted report.

The delicious sandwiches and goodies were made by the students of the academy and invited attendees tucked in with gusto. Music and singing were also supplied through a Staff Tutor and Student. Well done to AVA and my thanks for the invitation. AVA commented  “A wonderful way to close the term. We were delighted to host parents, carers and our local community for afternoon tea, celebrating our recent Ofsted report and the achievements of our school community”
